A major climate finance fund based in the Middle East sought to establish a bold, credible digital presence aligned with its $1B mandate to accelerate sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy across emerging markets. With a visionary leadership team and a high-level mission, the fund needed a website that could speak to investors, policymakers, and community partners — all while remaining sleek, intuitive, and easy to manage internally. This was both a design and systems challenge: how to communicate impact with clarity while ensuring scalability for future growth.
Goals
Establish a strong, future-facing brand identity
Create a responsive, narrative-led website for multiple stakeholder groups
Equip the internal team to independently manage and evolve the platform
Build trust through thoughtful design and transparent storytelling
Phase 1: Strategy & Narrative Architecture
The project began by mapping key user groups and their needs — from institutional investors to regional implementation partners. I worked closely with the client team to define a narrative structure that felt clear and confident without slipping into generic sustainability language. We co-created all copy with an emphasis on scannability and tone, ensuring the site could effectively communicate credibility, ambition, and impact in equal measure. The narrative architecture became the foundation for both site structure and content development.
Phase 2: Design System & Framer Build
The build was done entirely in Framer, allowing for seamless collaboration and a fully responsive experience across devices. Every page and component was designed for longevity and adaptability, allowing the fund’s internal team to scale and update the platform without additional developer support.
Phase 3: Client Collaboration & Capacity Transfer
A key focus of the engagement was enablement. we worked closely with the client to co-build components, test workflows, and ensure full knowledge transfer. From investor-ready reports to interactive project maps, we prioritized content systems that could evolve in-house. Training sessions, documentation, and scalable design tokens ensured the team could confidently manage the platform post-launch — turning a design deliverable into a long-term asset.
The final product is a bold, clear, and trustworthy digital presence that reflects the fund’s mission and maturity. Designed for clarity and built for growth, the website now acts as a platform for engagement — helping drive climate investment and amplify regional impact. This project reinforced the importance of pairing strategic storytelling with sustainable systems — and proved that good design is as much about what happens after launch as what goes live.
